However, it is fine to use the comment feature to post your opinion on the deaths in question, but don't hope to have your vote counted, the poll ended a while ago - Pyro Python
Okay everyone, here's the deal. For a while there has been some debate amongst us HTF aficionados about whether or not Toothy should be given responsibility for the deaths in Class Act. There are arguments for this (i.e., he started the fire, he's responsible for the deaths) and arguments against this (i.e., Toothy was one of only many players in a group effort that caused the explosion, hence to assign him and only him blame for the matter would be wrong). Now it's possible you may be for or against this for completely unrelated reasons, and that's perfectly fine.
Basically, when this wikia was created by Pyro Python back in the day he did not list Toothy as being held accountable for these deaths. Several times over the year or two that followed, this was edited so that Toothy was responsible for all 20+ deaths. These edits were, however, quickly reverted. I personally could have gone either way on this, as I could see both sides of the argument. I ultimately decided to agree with those saying Toothy should not be held accountable for these deaths as they were typically more "trustworthy" editors than those who said Toothy should be held accountable. Recently I've had a little debate with Lumpy84, one of the better pro-blame Toothy editors, over the matter when he/she came up with the solution to make use of the recently added blog feature. So, long story short, we're going to put it to a vote! Here are the rules...
Post whether or not you believe Toothy should be held accountable for the deaths in Class Act in response to this blog. Feel free to add an explanation to your reasoning if you so choose.
Voting will remain open until next Friday (September 18, 2009) at 12:00pm whereupon I will tally the votes and edit the page to match the voice of the people. You will find the words "Yes! It's Toothy's fault!" and "No! Toothy's not to blame!" beneath my first vote. Please copy and paste this in your reply and add a point to the side you wish to vote for.
Only editors with accounts may vote so as to prevent some people from "stuffing the box" (for example, now I won't be able to go to the computer lab of my school and cast a vote for my side of the argument from each of the 100+ computers as a way to make use of the 100+ different IP addresses).
You may only vote once. Anyone caught using a sockpuppet account (ex., accounts that mysteriously pop up, do nothing other than respond to this blog, and then disappear, among other things) to add votes to one side of the argument will have not only their votes thrown out, but they will also risk having their account(s) deleted.
That's basically it! I'm tired right now, so I may have forgotten some basic rules. If I can think of any to add, or if you have any suggestions, we'll make the edits. The choice is yours people! Now get out there and vote!
